WOW:-(

Just looked at my last post and I am SO.FAR.BEHIND!!!! Let's see if I can catch up just a little. Devan finished up her Junior year at Ouachita Baptist University, came home for 4 days and left for two weeks in Vietnam. I was worried sick but as usual, God got her there safely. She had a wonderful time working with Orphan Voice Ministries and after a few delays, finally made it home:-) She was one tired girl when she got home but she managed to stay awake until bedtime and didn't suffer too much jetlag. Jordan and Jenna both finished up the school year and once they were done and Devan was home, we headed to Gulf Shores, Alabama for vacation!!!! This was Desi's first vacation and after an apprehensive couple of days, she finally realized how awesome the beach and ocean were although, her favorite place was still the kiddie pool:-) It's been a few weeks since we came home and she is still talking about the beach!!! Jordan finally got her FIRST job!!!! She is the newest employee at our local Kentucky Fried Chicken. Steve is one proud daddy as he worked at this same place when he was a teenager and when Jordan told them who her daddy was......they hired her the next day!!!! Yes, he was a good employee and there are STILL people working there that knew him way back then:-) Now he's just waiting for her to learn enough that she can be on the closing crew and bring him the leftover chicken!!! LOL Jenna is continuing on with gymnastics over the summer and will be heading to Family Farm next week. Family Farm is a Christian Day Camp that is absolutely AMAZING!!! This is Devan's second year as a Camp Counselor there and she loves it. She used to be a camper so it was only a natural progression for her to eventually become one of the leaders. All of our kids have gone there over the years and they learn so much about Christ. What a blessing to have this in our community!!!! Desi has had some "stuff" going on. We found out that she has been accepted into the ABC Preschool Program here in town. Her school is only 2 minutes away from Jenna's school so it will make for an easy drop-off/pick-up time for both girls. Part of her school requirements was a major check-up and bloodwork. Since coming home Desi has drank EXCESSIVELY and when I mentioned this to our doctor, he thought she might have diabetes:-( We waited a LONG 5 days to find out the results and PRAISE GOD, her bloodwork came out perfectly and she doesn't have this disease. She continues to fall quite frequently so our doctor is setting up an appointment for her with the orthopedic specialists at Arkansas Children's Hospital. He's not sure if her falling has something to do with her Spina Bifida or if she just might be off-balance because of her arm. We are hoping to find out something soon so we can get it fixed. Watching her fall for seemingly no reason, is very hard. I am always afraid she is going to break a bone because she hits the floor hard:-( Here's a couple of pictures from vacation:
