We got word this morning that our paperwork has been entered into the National Visa Center database. I honestly don't know exactly what happens to our paperwork while it is being "processed" here, but either Thursday or Friday they will cable (aka:email) everything to Guangzhou. This is where the U.S. Embassy is in China.
Once they have cabled our file, they will issue a letter. I need this letter to add to my packet of documents that will be overnighted to GWCA. I have requested they send me a pdf file of the letter so I can print it and get it in my package. Going to GWCA is ALL of our original paperwork for Desi. Remember all the approvals we've waited for...well, they're headed back to our agency so they can overnight them to China. Included in this packet is Desi's U.S. Visa application!!!!
I've waited SO long for this moment that I'm almost afraid to let myself believe it is actually going to happen!!!
The 'Countdown' has begun! Can't wait! Desi is COMING HOME!!!!!!! I remember when she was just a dream. Woo-Hoo!!!!!
