Momma Ain't Happy:-(
So, when we began this adoption process we had Lori (our Social Worker) approve us to adopt a 5-14 year old child. Of course, now we know that God had other plans and has given us a 3 1/2 year old!!! As part of the process the U.S. government has to give their "stamp of approval" and you pay dearly for it! It seriously cost almost $1,000 for them to look over your paperwork, get fingerprints done and say that all is well in the world. Because our HS and I-797 (government approval) say we're approved to adopt 5-14 we have to have it amended. Today I find out it will cost us an additional $360.00 to change a 5 to a 3:-( I am NOT happy about this!!! The devil is fighting us at every turn (grrrrr!!!!)

Is that for the updated HS, or BCIS needing a little extra cash for their pockets? Sheesh! And they think we're made of money! Hang in there, Desi is coming home soon.
