So, last night was THE night. I sat with my phone in my lap starting at 7:00 p.m. We waited and waited and waited. Finally in defeat, I surrendered to the idea that we were not matched. I sent my friends a text, posted on the Rumor Queen, made sure we weren't going to have any severe weather and went to bed. It was about 10:15 and I had just started praying when the phone rang. I dang near fell backwards out of the bed!!! It was Cori from GWCA. The next few minutes I heard about a precious THREE year old little girl in Gansu Province. Yes, I know, we requested 5-8 years old but I'm trusting that GOD knows what HE'S doing:-)
Here's a little more about Liang Ruo Hua. She was born 11/30/07 without her left forearm. There are some of you that know I have said almost from the very beginning of this process, I felt like our daughter would be missing her left forearm. I'm pretty sure this is one of my "God Moments"!!! It says she is active, talkative, extrovert and obstinate sometimes. YEP, sounds like a Malone child to me. Her description could describe any or ALL of the other three. LOL. I still haven't converted her weight/height/etc. but I hope to do that this afternoon.
We are head over heels in love with this little beauty. What a precious blessing she is!!! Once again, God's timing is PERFECT and HE has hand-picked our child. The long wait to see her face is finally over and I feel like I can breath again. Thank you God. Your mercy, grace and goodness overwhelm me.
