Our fingerprint appointment isn't until the 26th but we had given serious thought to trying to "walk-in" early. Well, I single-handedly messed that up this past week when I pinched my pinky finger in between a buggy I was pushing and a LARGE/HEAVY plastic box that we move parts in:-( It pinched it so bad that it busted it open.
Instead of freaking out because I was bleeding profusely or that I was in excruciating pain, I was crying because the cut was right in the middle of my FINGERPRINT!!!!! I was sure I probably needed stitches while Steve was sure I needed a tetanus shot. I got neither and it seems to be healing pretty good (thank you Neosporin). If we get to walk-in early it probably will only be by a few days because I think it will take that long for my finger to heal. I guess I should be thankful that it didn't cut it all the way off (which it came pretty close by the way). All in God's timing!!!!!
