Yep, that's what the first part of this process is ALL about:-) My birth certificate will be in the mail tomorrow to be "certified". If there weren't so much darn snow on the ground I'd go to Little Rock tomorrow to have a few other documents "certified" but I think I'll wait until more of the snow/ice is gone. Still waiting to get Steve into the doctors office. Now he's claiming that he's behind at work because of the snow and it'll have to wait a few days. I WILL get him into the doctor's office soon!!! I'm going to make him go to the post office for our passports after the doctor so he'll be doubly mad at me!!! LOL!!!
I faxed quite a few documents to GWCA on Saturday and everything was PERFECT!!!! Yea!!!! Lori and I finally got to talk yesterday and got some things resolved. THANKS LORI!!!! Now she's just waiting on me to get everything to her so she can write our homestudy. Oh and we're still waiting on the Accountant to get our self-employment letters done but that can't happen until he gets our TAXES done!!! UGH!!! Waiting, waiting, waiting.....yes THAT'S a huge part of this process too:-(
I keep reminding myself....it will get done. Maybe, ok POSITIVELY, not necessarily in MY time but it will get done. God is teaching me patience again. I guess I wasn't a very good student the first time around!!!
You are a great student. Perseverance and dedication is what will pay off. Adoption is not for the faint of heart and your heart is STRONG!
